Computer scientist: a profession turned towards the future, affecting all sectors of activity...

At a time when information technology occupies a predominant place in the professional and social activities of everyone, the computer scientist is the one who masters and develops the materials, tools and applications of tomorrow. Contrary to other professional activities, the computer scientist can intervene in different sectors of activity such as finance, aviation/aerospace, telecommunications, medical, mass distribution, communication, leisure...

• Bac+3: Network and/or database administrator, Information systems architect, Application developer, Website designer, Operations analyst, User assistant, Search engine optimization manager, Research engineer (public service), ...
• Bac+5: Project manager, Consultants, Network deployment engineer, Security engineer, IT asset manager, Network and/or database administrator, Telecom software architect, Information systems architect, ...
• Bac+8: Research engineer (public service), researcher or teacher-researcher (public service), Research and Development Engineer...

According to studies carried out over the last two years with our Master's students:

• the average time to obtain a work contract on a national level at the end of the end-of-studies internship (Master) is less than one month;
• nearly 70% of our students students have a job employment proposal from the company that hosted their internship.

In 2015-2016, CERI received more than 340 internship offers in Master 2 and 71 work-study offers from local and national companies.

A survey of students who graduated in 2014 showed that:

• Net monthly salary of 1800 to 2200 euros for a first job
• At 30 months, 100% of jobs in permanent employment, including 94% at the engineer/executive level
• Jobs spread across the country, with more than half in the south of France (PACA, Occitanie Pyrénées-Méditerranée...)
