Projects
Theoretical AND practical lessons...
Throughout their training, students are required to put into practice the theoretical knowledge they have acquired during tutorials, practical work and projects. Below are some examples of projects and work carried out by our students.
The French Robotics Cup
Each year, a group of students from 3e year Bachelor's degree is selected to participate in the French Robotics Cup (formerly the E=M6 Cup). Taking part in this cup requires analysing the rules set each year by the cup's organising committee, designing and building the robot over two semesters, and finally presenting the robot at the competitions held in May in La Ferté-Bernard (Sarthe).
Degree projects
From 2e year of the Licence, students must complete 1 project per semester enabling them to put to good use the knowledge acquired in the various teaching units. These projects focus on specific aspects such as the logical structure of computers, programming and algorithms, and network protocols.
Master projects
As part of their training, Master's students (not on sandwich courses) must complete a group project spread over the two semesters of the first year. Each project covers a wide range of subjects, including networks and telecoms, web/application development, the study of new platforms or applications, etc. As well as helping students to understand and master specific technical aspects, these projects are designed to put into practice the knowledge and skills acquired in the course. project management methodologies including, for example, task management and planning, human resources management, product lifecycle management, documentation writing, etc.
